Merry Christmas!

In case you didn't already know, we went to visit my sisters in York, Nebraska for the holiday. Unfortunately, the trip wasn't all that pleasant for me; most of the time I was very uncomfortable for one reason or another.

It started with something getting in my eye the Thursday before we even left. I could barely keep it open until Sunday morning. By the time that cleared up I was starting to come down with a cold or flu bug. I think I caught it digging my car out on Friday, and I haven't shaken it yet.

I did manage to find an over-the-counter medicine that is helping, but before that I spent a very uncomfortable night tossing and turning. The next morning I had nasty twinge in my neck, so that it hurt to turn my head too much (thank goodness for the hot tub at the hotel).

The end result of this is that I wasn't very good company. If either of my sisters read this, I'm sorry I wasn't able to do a better visit.
